Tuesday: read 20 minutes, study spelling words, Girls basketball game 6:30 pm
Wednesday: read 20 minutes, study spelling words, Camp Read-A-Lot from 5-6:30 pm
Thursday: read 20 minutes, study spelling words
Friday: PICTURE DAY, read 20 minutes, spelling test, Boys basketball game 7:30 pm, chess club
ELA: We have completed our novel, “Clean Getaway” and will get back into our MyView text focusing on Tall Tales this week. We will learn the structure of Tall Tales and then discuss the theme found in our Tall Tale, “Thunder Rose”. Students can practice below:
Science: This week we will continue our work with circuits by adding a switch, motor, and speaker to our circuit. We will learn that switches open and close circuits.
Spelling: Our words this week include the Greek root “auto” meaning “self” and the root “trans” meaning “across”:
