Happy Valentine’s Day Week!!! It also looks like we are going to get some warmer weather, so it is shaping up to be a great week!
Monday: read 20 minutes, study spelling words, girls basketball game 6:30, boys practice, choir
Tuesday: read 20 minutes, study spelling words, library, Valentine’s Day part 2:30-3:30
Wednesday: read 20 minutes, study spelling words
Thursday: read 20 minutes, study spelling words, p.e., girls and boys basketball practice
Friday: read 20 minutes, spelling test, Pencil Palace during lunch, Boys basketball game 7:30 pm
Science: We will begin looking more in-depth at electrical circuits and get a chance to build a few circuits with wires, light bulbs, and batteries. We will also learn about conductors (objects that allow electricity to pass through) and insulators objects that don’t allow electricity to pass through).
Reading: We are wrapping up our novel, “Clean Getaway” this week and working on our Famous Black Americans slideshow project. Students will get the chance to choose a famous Black American and then create a slideshow teaching us about what they did or why they are famous. We will share presentations next week.
