I can’t believe we start the month of March this week! This school year is really starting to fly by! Here is our schedule for the week:
Monday: read 20 minutes, study spelling words, chorus, boys BB practice
Tuesday: read 20 minutes, study spelling words, Bookmobile, girls BB practice,
Wednesday: read 20 minutes, study spelling words, Early Release 1:50
Thursday: read 20 minutes, study spelling words, boys and girls BB practice
Friday: read 20 minutes, spelling test, Wildcat Assembly 2:50, girls basketball practice, Boys basketball game 6:30
Science: This week we will begin looking at examples of energy transfer in our classroom and school, as well as learn about how humans can use energy to communicate starting with Morse code and ending with the use of cell phones. Students can practice energy transfer below:
Reading: This week we are reading our first drama of the year. We will learn about the cast of characters, stage directions, setting, dialogue, and more! Every student will get a chance to pick a part to read in our small group setting! You can learn more about dramas below:
Spelling: This week we will focus on words that contain the suffix: -able.
