Welcome to another wonderful week of 4th grade!!! The weather has been gorgeous lately, I hope everyone has had a chance to get outside and enjoy it. Here is our schedule for the week:
Monday: read 20 minutes, study spelling words, boys basketball practice
Tuesday: library, read 20 minutes, study spelling words, girls basketball practice
Wednesday: Heart-o-grams for sale before school 25 ¢, read 20 minutes, study spelling words, Early Release 1:50, boys basketball game 6:30
Thursday: Heart-o-grams for sale before school 25 ¢, p.e., read 20 minutes, study spelling words, boys practice, girls basketball game 6:30
Friday: Heart-o-grams for sale before school 25 ¢, read 20 minutes, spelling test, chess club
Science: We will wrap up our discussion of waves this week and then begin learning about how electricity moves in a circuit. Students will get to practice creating a simple circuit using an energy ball later this week.
Reading: We are finishing unit 3 this week, which means we will be taking our reading unit assessment. Since this is an assessment week, there are no new learning targets to practice. However, you can go back and practice any games starting at winter break until last week. We will also take some time this week and next week to complete our novel, “Clean Getaway”.
