Week of February 15th – 19th!!!

I had a wonderful and relaxing President’s Day/Valentine’s Day weekend, and I hope you did too! Here are some important dates for this week:

Wednesday, 2/17: Early Dismissal at 2:50
Thursday, 2/18: Electricity and Energy science test
Friday, 2/19: Six Flags Reading Forms due

ELA: This week is not the most exciting week in reading because we will be testing every day of the week. We are working on completing our February evaluate test and taking a practice ELA MAP test. Thankfully, we have our chromebooks, so students can now work in the comfort of their own desk and we do not have to worry about another class kicking us out of the computer lab. We will still work on new spelling words this week. Our sound pattern is -ume (fume, flume, plume, consume) and our suffix is -th (strength, warmth, filth, depth, length).

Science: We have our science test on Thursday, February 18th! All students should have taken home a study guide last Friday. We will spend today and tomorrow working on review activities and games to prepare us for the assessment. Please make sure students are reading through the study guide nightly. You can also visit this website and do any of the review activities from November through February.
