Last week we discussed problem and solution in our reading lessons. Every student in our classroom has begun reading independently during class time and at home. Please tell me the name of the book you are reading and then tell me the problem facing the characters. If your characters have solved their problem in your chapter book, please tell me how they did this. I will give an example first:
The story I am reading is called “The Fabled Fourth Graders of Aesop Elementary School”. The problem that Mrs. Struggles, the school principal, faces in the story is finding a teacher who will teach the fourth graders at Aesop Elementary because they do not follow school rules and cause lots of problems. Mrs. Struggles was able to solve her problem by putting a help-wanted add in the newspaper and hiring the first teacher who came to apply for the position. His name was Mr. Jupiter.
In my book Phines L. McGruire, the problem is Macs best friend moved to Kanas City.So he now is making freinds with a girl and they both love scince.
My book is about two twins boys at school. Only one boy gos cause the school dose not know about his brother.There mom thinks that both of them are going to school. But one twin gos and one twin stays. Sence they just moved there are boxs that they can hide in. Then one twin went to school and told everybody. they only told one peson cause they did not want anyone to know. The person that he told told evebody. And he did not want anyone to know.
My book is James and the giant peach.The problem is that heis mother and father got ate by a rino.Then he had to move in with mean aunt sponge and aunt spiker .The solution is thet there was a peach and it grown and grown .so then he toook a bite of the peach then he went into the peach and heard noses then he fell in and then it rolled away.
In my book MaryPoppins a lady needed a babysitter .Then Miss Mary Poppins was blown by the wind to her house.She had agreed to take care of the house. Then she went to a man who drew pictures to get money. After they got some tea. Last they went to see aman named Uncle Mr wigg. He said that when he has laughing gas he is as light as a feather! The kids laghed and they flew into the air like a feather too! then thy asked Mary to come and she did. she also helped with the problems and got everything.They were all very happy together.
my book accidentally fabulous is a wonderful book about how a new gril at school is learning how to blend in with the poupaular or what every body calls them the ~league ~ the people at school call them the league beacuse they were the most pauolper girls around the entire school the girl who is trying to fit in has a friend a name is t the school that she meat at her dads best friends school her name is jenelle she happend to go to her school at she was in the league therer were also to other girls in the league named fiona and lucia and the new girl is trying to make it in the league now do you see how good this book sounds love WALKER!!!:)>3
