It feels so good to have some cooler, fall temperatures this week! We are cruising right along in first quarter, with Parent Teacher Conferences approaching in 2 weeks!

Monday- read 30 minutes, study spelling words

Wednesday- read 30 minutes, study spelling words, p.e.
Thursday- read 30 minutes, study spelling words, library, Family math night 5:30-7:00
Friday- read 30 minutes, spelling test, music, pencil palace at lunch

Reading: We are starting unit 2 in reading. This week we will be looking at cause and effect text features in nonfiction writing. Students will read about deforestation, weathering on rocks, manmade islands, and animal mimicry looking for cause and effect relationships.
