Week of September 25th – 29th!!!

Welcome to the last week of September!  Fourth grade students have accomplished so much already in our first month of school.  I am so proud of how many students have completed chapter books, passed Reading Counts quizzes, and are working hard in guided reading groups.  Keep up the great work!

Monday: read 20 minutes, study spelling words, p.e.,

Tuesday: read 20 minutes, study spelling words, art

Wednesday: read 20 minutes, study spelling words, p.e.,

Thursday: read 20 minutes, study spelling words, library, CAPP presentations

Friday: read 20 minutes, spelling test, music, Picture Day

Reading: We are taking another look at autobiographies this week while we focus on chronological order (time order) of a nonfiction text.  We will look for signal words that help tell the order of events in a story like first, next, last, etc.

Spelling: This week our words will contain the following prefixes: en-, em-, and mis-.
