Welcome back from Spring Break! We officially have 42 days left of school until summer break. We will pushing our way towards MAP testing that starts at the end of this month. Here is our schedule this week:
Monday: read 20 minutes, study spelling words, soccer try-outs
Tuesday: read 20 minutes, study spelling words, soccer try-outs, Bookmobile
Wednesday: read 20 minutes, study spelling words, Early Dismissal at 1:50
Thursday: read 20 minutes, spelling test
Friday: NO SCHOOL (Monday also)
Science: We are starting our final unit in science this week: Animal and Plant Survival. We will learn about how living things have specialized structures and behaviors that help them survive. Here are some practice sites to learn more:
ELA: We are starting our final chapter book of fourth grade, called “Chomp”. This book is about a father/son duo who are wildlife wranglers. They are hired to work on the set of a new television show and work with people who don’t know what they are really doing. This week we will focus on making inferences about the story. This means to make educated guesses using background knowledge and clues from the story. You can practice below:
