Week of March 13th – 17th!

It feels more like winter these days, but spring is only a week away! I hope it starts to warm up soon! Here is our schedule for the week:
Monday: read 20 minutes, study spelling words, choir, boys basketball practice
Tuesday: read 20 minutes, study spelling words, boys basketball practice, library
Wednesday: read 20 minutes, study spelling words, boys basketball game 6:30
Thursday: read 20 minutes, spelling test, end of 3rd quarter
Friday: NO SCHOOL

Science: We are wrapping up our unit with more coding activities this week. Check out some fun sites below:

Reading: We are starting our third novel of the year- “Shiloh”. This book is about a boy who finds a mistreated dog and wants to keep him as a pet. The unkind owner wants the dog back. We will find out what happens! During this week we will practice identifying character traits and clues from the story to support our ideas.

3. Free Kick Soccer game

Spelling: We will learn words that have prefixes added to them to make them mean not ___________. Our list includes:
mature

impractical
complete
incomplete
capable
incapable.
Students can practice at Spelling City and Spelling Training.
