Welcome to this short week due to Parent Teacher Conferences! Since we only have school 3 days this week, we will combine our reading week with next week. This will give us a chance to go through all of our learning goals without feeling rushed. Here is our schedule for the week:
Monday: read 20 minutes, wear red day!, study Science study guide!
Tuesday: read 20 minutes, p.e., wear favorite jersey day!, study Science study guide!
Wednesday: read 20 minutes, p.e., wear sweats day!, Science Test today!, Parent Teacher Conferences 5-8 pm
Thursday: read 20 minutes, NO SCHOOL-Parent Teacher Conferences 8:30 am – 7:00 pm
Friday: NO SCHOOL!
Science: We will wrap up our unit this week with completing a study guide on Monday, review games on Tuesday, and unit test on Wednesday! Since there are no new learning goals, feel free to play any game from the first day of school all the way until last week to review! There are also review games on Google Science Classroom.
Reading: We are beginning our unit on poetry. We will learn about the structural elements of poetry including repetition, rhyme, voice, imagery, similes/metaphors, etc. You can practice these below:
Spelling: Our spelling words are irregular plural words. This means that you don’t just add a s to the end of the word to make it plural. Our spelling test won’t be until November 4th, 2022.
