ELA: This week we are taking a break from new spelling words because we are ahead of the other 2 classes. We will get new words again next week. We are focusing on making inferences about persuasive texts. We will read a story about a group of miners who were trapped underground and make inferences about their feelings/thoughts while trapped. Check out the following practice pages:
1. Inferences Riddles
2. Inferences Battleship
3. Inferences Trivia Challenge

Science: We are continuing our coding section of the unit this week, but no longer on computer coding. Instead, we are focusing on designing devices that use patterns/codes to transfer information. We are nearing the end of the unit and will begin reviewing for our test next week. As of now, our unit test is set to be taken on Monday, March 16th. If the date changes, I will let you know, but look for study guides/practice tests to go home soon.
