Week of November 11th-15th!!!

I am loving the beauty of the snow, but struggling with the cold! I hope you all enjoy your snow day and stay warm. Here are some upcoming important events:

Monday: read 20 minutes, reading log

Wednesday: read 20 minutes, reading log, early dismissal at 1:50, Papa John’s pizza night
Thursday: read 20 minutes, reading log
Friday: reading log due, Pencil Palace

ELA: This week we are adding the spelling sound patterns of -udge (judge, budge, fudge, drudge, sludge, grudge, smudge) and -ume (fume, plume). We are also completing our November Evaluate ELA assessment, talking about root words that come from Greek and Latin origin, and discuss analogies. Check out practice activities below:

Science:
We will continue to focus on how motion, sound, and heat are transferred in collisions between two objects. We will complete an experiment to test how speed affects how much energy is transferred.
