ELA: This week we will add the following new spelling words to our lists: -ough words (rough, slough) and -owse words (dowse, browse, drowse). We will also be working on finding the Author’s Purpose for writing as well as identifying the type of writing (entertaining, persuasion, and informational). Check out the practice activities below:

Science: We have wrapped up our lessons on renewable and nonrenewable energy and will now learn about how energy changes and is transferred in a collision. We will learn that when 2 objects collide, the first object shares energy with the second object to make it start moving. Check out these practice activities:
