It doesn’t feel like we are getting close to Spring Break with all of the snow we have had the last week, but I am excited to get a little bit of rest and relaxation next week. I hope all of you are able to as well. Here are some important dates:
Tuesday, March 14th- Bookmobile was cancelled because they had an issue with their trailer. They will return next month.
Wednesday, March 15th- Pencil Palace and Conferences from 5-8pm
Thursday, March 16th- Conferences from 5-8 pm
Friday, March 17th- no school, start of Spring Break
Monday, March 27th- return from Spring Break
ELA:
We are beginning a new novel study this week on the book “Shiloh” by Phylis Reynolds Naylor. We will start the novel this week and continue after Spring Break. We will also talk about character traits, point of view, and other round/flat characters. Check out the following:

We are wrapping up our unit by studying magnets this week. Magnets are very similar to electricity because they have attracting and repelling charges, can provide power, and have opposite charges. Check out these practice activities below:
