I am amazed at how quickly first semester flew by this year! I cannot believe that we are at our final week of school before Winter Break. I hope everyone has an amazing time off and a wonderful New Year! Here are some important dates to remember:

ELA: This week is a review/testing week for the end of the quarter/semester. We are reviewing text features and first/second-hand events. The students will take our end-of-unit assessment on Tuesday. The rest of the week, we will work on some winter-themed reading activities to review all learning targets so far this year.

Science: This week we are continuing our weathering, erosion, and deposition part of the unit. We will also begin talking about rapid changes to the Earth’s surface by volcanoes and earthquakes. Check out these practice sites:
