Can you believe we are almost at Spring Break? Here are some important dates for this week:
1. Tuesday, March 15th- Fundraiser Kick-off @ 3:15
2. Wednesday, March 16th- Pencil Palace
3. Conferences on March 16th and 17th
4. Spring Break goes from March 18th – March 28th. Our first day back is March 29th.
5. Fourth grade presents at the Wildcat Assembly on April 1st.
6. We will have no weekly reports this week. I will discuss behavior and work at conferences.

ELA: We are wrapping up our quarter by taking our final Evaluate test. This is a test over all reading objectives in fourth grade. Students have now learned all objectives and are ready for the MAP test in April. We will spend the rest of the year reviewing what we have learned.

Science:
We are starting our unit on Plants and Animals by learning about living vs. nonliving and the basic needs of all plants and animals. This unit includes lots of simulation games because we don’t have any actual animals in the classroom.
