It looks like we will have a full week of school and the weather will be great!!! A few important reminders this week:
1. Monday was our Growth and Development video/discussion day. Please ask your son/daughter if they have any questions.
2. Pencil Palace is rescheduled for this Wednesday, the 27th, because of the snow day last week.
3. Reading logs are due this Friday, the 29th. Any student who turns it in completed will get an extra recess.

ELA: Because of the snow day, teacher trainings, and holiday last week; we have decided to keep our focus on Point of View again this week. Students are required to know “first-person” and “third-person”. First-person means the narrator tells what happens through their own perspective and use words such as: I, us, we, etc. Third-person means the narrator is telling what happened to someone else. Third-person uses words such as: names, they, he, she, etc. You can click on activities from last week to practice.

Science: We are continuing our natural resources lesson by learning about renewable and nonrenewable resources this week. Renewable means we can use them over and over again. Some examples are sun, wind, water, etc. Nonrenewable means that we will either completely run out of the energy, or not be able to get more during our lifetime. Examples include oil, coal, and natural gas. Check out the following activities for practice:
