Week of September 9th – 13th!

I had an amazing weekend with my family, and I hope you did as well. Hopefully we will start feeling cooler fall temperatures soon! Here are some upcoming important dates:

Monday: read 20 minutes
Tuesday: read 20 minutes, Bookmobile
Wednesday: read 20 minutes
Thursday: read 20 minutes, Wildcat Chorus

ELA: Our spelling patterns for this week include -een (green, preen, seen, teen, etc) and -eeze (sneeze, tweeze, freeze, squeeze, etc). We will have our spelling test on Friday. Our skill this week is describing interactions between characters. We will look at how the interactions between characters changes the plot and outcome of the story. Science: In science, we will discover how Earth’s land features have changed over time. Students will learn about fast and slow causes of change including weathering, erosion, earthquakes, plate movement, and weather. Check out the following:
