**There are no new assigned Odysseyware lessons for the remainder of the year. Walker is holding a virtual field day today. We had our fourth grade field day last week, but this one is run by the entire school. How it will work: The students will receive an email with a link to a Flipgrid presentation. Students will log on using their student ID/lunch number. The presentation includes challenges, and videos demonstrating the challenges. Students will participate in the challenge and have the option of recording videos of themselves completing the challenge which they can post to the Flipgrid page.

ELA: This week we will focus on poetry and verbs. In particular, you will learn about haiku poetry. These are short poems, usually about nature. They are 3 lines long and follow syllable rules. The first syllable is 5 syllables long, the second line is 7 syllables long, and the third line is 5 syllables. Check out the following practice pages:

Science: This week in science we will wrap up our unit on animals by taking an animal quiz. We will then begin our unit about the air on earth called the atmosphere. We will learn about the air and what gases are there. Check out this practice:
