Blogging Assignment 03/08/12

Happy Thursday everyone! Your assignment is:

1. Go to your student blog and update us on the results of your plant variable experiment.

  1. Our group did the variable space. At the end of our project, the regular was 18cm and the crowded was 15cm.

  2. My plant variable experiment was watered with Dr. Pepper and Fruit Punch. The Dr. Pepper plant was turning dark green and stopped growing after 10 cm. The Fruit Punch plant turned a little dark green and stopped growing after 10 cm., too.

  3. My group tested different types of water and used tea aand orange soda . All the plants started to grow but then tea and orange soda started to shrink shrivel and became darker.But water was doing the total oppposite by growing and and was standing on its own.

  4. Our plant was frozen after we put it in the refridgerator it wa pretty cool to see t like that.The plant was growing becase one day would be in the fridge an the other day whould be in the sun light.

    1. our group found out that putting plant in fridge can efect it but will not kill it. The fridge made it brownish the one that was not in the fridge was healthey.

  5. My group decided to do space we did one with 20 seeds on top of each other it tangeled up and a nother one that was all spaced out and it did not tangle.

  6. 1.Me and my group tested control and experimental.
    2.What we did was me and my group all put our exermental plant in the closet for one day the next day in the window.
    3.But with our control plant we put it in the frig and then in the window for the next day.
    4.But with both plants we waterd them with water.But the did not at all dye.

  7. Our plant variable on pineapple was it was moldy, stinky and rotin. Our plant variable on water, it was heaith, growing,and green. Our variable for rootbeer was smelly, moldy, and shrivley.

    and clarise .We are watering plants with different
    liquid like tea & orange soda they both died.
    But one died on the first day and that stinks
    it was orange soda. tea died in 4days

  9. My group decided to test the variable of Root Beer and Pineapple jucie. What happened was the pineapple jucie plant was stinky and the plant had mold on the plant, but the plant died. Also, the Root Beer plant was smelly and stink, but the plant was still growing. The water plant was heathly and was growing a lot. We did this experiment for about two weeks.

  10. Our experiment was to plant grass in a heat lamp. That was our experimental. They both got really droopy but it didn’t die. Our control means that it’s just regular grass, nothing different.

  11. My group has changed our water and watered our plants with 1. regular tap water. 2. A plant with Kool aid and #3. A plant with water with blue dye in it.

  12. Our group put our plant in the refrigerator. The plant got very cold and it died. Our other plant was in the closet. It grew more than the cold plant. In the end, I learned that plants don’t grow well in the cold.

  13. My group put our plant in the refrigerator.It was in the refrigerator one day and in the sun thenext day.Our control plant was in the colset. Our grop made a slide show to show all the other groups.

  14. The plants where all alive and tall but, the kool aid plant smelt bad and was only about 5or6 cm. The other plants were taller at 15 cm each.

  15. Our experiment was temperature. We had the experimental plant in the refrigerator and the control plant in the closet but the one in the refrigerator grew more and the one in the closet was droopy.

  16. My group’s variable was water, so we picked orange soda, and blue kool-aid.Our soda plant shrunk, got all stiky, and was stuck togther. Our just plan old water plant was kinda droopy. Our kool-aid plant was all shriveld up.

  17. My plant variables were kool-aid, orange soda, and water. We watered the plants with them. Our kool-aid plant was small, stinky, and dark green at the end of the experiment. Our soda plant was dark green and the leaves stuck together at the end of the experiment. Our water plant was taller than the other plants.

My group’s experiment was to pat a plant in the refrigerator.It stayed in the refridgerator one day then by the sun the next day and kept alternating.Our control plant was in the closet the same days our experimental plant was in the refrgerator.They bolth were in the sun the other and kept alternating between.At the end our control plant turned out to be the tallest . The control plant ended out to be yellow but very light.Our experimental plant was dark green.They bolth couldn’t hold there selves up.

  19. My group is doing temperture and we put the experiment plant in our teacher refrigerator and the control plant is in her clost and every other day we put it at the window.

My group has changed the teperature by puting the experimental plant in the refrigerator one day and it in the window the orther day .We did that beause we knew that every plant needs water and we put the control plant in the window .ON the last day of the prcject both of the plants where green on the tip of them.

  22. My group’s experiment was to water are plant with blue dye , kool aid and water as we were watering with kool aid are plant started to strink because it has alot of surar in it . the blue dye stayed lime green and tall but at the end it was hung over and yellow so was all the other plants.

  23. Our experiment was a plant being under a heat lamp. Our experimental plant was yellow with green tips, and it had dry dirt. It was also droopy. Our control plant was light green. It was holding its leaves up, but they were hanging over the sides of the pot a little. The control plant was shorter than the experimental plant by a few centimeters. At the end of this experiment, I learned not to put plants in hot areas.

  26. our expierment was a plant an a heat lamp a heatlamp is a lamp that shines heat.One of are things we did in are expierment was doing tempature.One of are temptures for experimental plant was 25 degrees celcius.One thing I learned is that plants can grow in a heat lamp but they also can shrivel.

  27. Kavion, Grant, Chase, Hailey C, and I changed the water variable for our plant experiment. We changed one to kool-aid and the other to blue food died water. At the end, our kool-aid plant was lime green, but it smelled like rotten eggs. Our blue-dye plant was tall and green. Our control plant was the same as the blue dye plant.

Our experiment was tempeture and we had put our experimental plant in the frige and control plant in the closet.And we had put each of them in the window one day and the frige/closet the other . We had watered the experimentel plant with 4 cups of water and watered it 2 times a week .The control plant was watered 3times and watered 4 times a week .Sometimes watered 5 times a week the control plant grew the most and better becuse. It gets enough dark and light and gets enough food from the light and enough dark time to rest.

Our group had plants to experiment on.We watered one of our plants with kool aid.We also watered a plant with blue dye blue dye .Also we we watered one with water.Our water plant grew very tall and the height was 15.5(cm).Also our kool aid plant was smelly and the height was 11.5(cm).Last our blue dye plant was not smelly and the height was 15.5.Now I will tell you about how they .First our water plant was nice and green.Also our blue dye was brown near the dirt and green near the top and the middle.Last our kool aid plant had lots of brown near the bottom and green at the top.

  30. My group want to see what our plant whould do in cold temperature in the refrigerator and on day 1 both the control and experimental plants were 5 or 6 cm.
    On the last day our experimental plant was a little dead by being a yellow our control plant was still green and standing.

  31. One decomposer I know is fungi.The fungis job is to asorb organnizams an nutritunts from decomposed animals.
