ELA: This week, our new spelling words include words with the prefix dis- (disappear, disagree, disarm, dishonest, discontinue) and words with the suffix -ern (norther, southern, western, eastern, postern). We are also spending the week completing district testing in the areas of vocabulary, reading comprehension, and fluency so there will be no new skills taught/assessed.

Science: We continue our focus on energy by looking at how sound and light waves are created and move. We will then look at those waves and learn the different parts of them including amplitude and wavelength. Check out the following for practice:
