Week of March 11th-15th!!!

I am so excited that the weather seems to be getting slightly warmer, but still trying to adjust to Daylight Savings Time. Thankfully, we have Spring Break starting soon and we can all catch up on some rest time then. Here are some important dates coming up:

Monday: read 20 minutes, RL
Tuesday: read 20 minutes, RL
Wednesday: read 20 minutes, RL, Parent-Teacher Conferences
Thursday: Reading Log due, Parent-Teacher Conferences
Friday: no school- Spring Break starts

**We return from Spring Break on Monday, March 25th. Also, Bookmobile is that day!!

ELA: This week we are working on spelling words with the -ling suffix meaning small (yearling, duckling, suckling, and fledgling). We will also focus on words with the mis- prefix meaning wrong/not (misbehave, misconduct, misfortune, mistake, and miscount). We are wrapping up our end of term testing by completing Evaluate testing, so there are no new skills to work on this week. Students can play spelling games by visiting:

Science: It’s TEST week! We will have our unit assessment on Thursday this week. Students are taking home a practice test on Monday to review, and a practice graph on Tuesday. Since there are no new learning targets this week, students may visit any activity on this blog for January, February, and March to review!
