Week of October 29th – November 2nd!!!

Happy Halloween! I hope you all get a chance to go out and get lots of candy this week! Here are some upcoming important dates:

Friday: reading logs due, popcorn day 25 cents, Wildcat Assembly 2:45. **Wear red, white, and blue!!! Bookmobile

ELA: This week we are focusing on main idea and details. We will read from our Storyworks magazine and think about the most important idea from the story. We will then use details from the story to support the main idea. We are also adding the sound patterns: -inch (pinch, cinch, finch, winch, clinch, flinch) and -inge (binge, hinge, singe, tinge, cringe, fringe, twinge) to our spelling lists. Science:
We will continue our unit about energy transfer this week. On Wednesday, we will practice using the scientific method by conducting an experiment on Halloween candy. Check out these practice activities:
