Welcome to another wonderful week in April! Here are some upcoming events:

Monday-Thursday: read 20 minutes, reading log
Tuesday- Culver’s Night from 5-8 pm
Wednesday- early dismissal at 2:50
Friday- reading logs due

ELA: This week we are wrapping up our Mythology unit and moving onto advertising and how companies use them to encourage consumers to purchase items. We are also working on spelling words with the un- (opposite) prefix. Example words include:

1. Create your own advertisement
2. Learn about the Marketplace including Ads
3. Admongo.gov game

Science: We will continue or discussion on adaptations this week and begin to focus on specific types: behavioral characteristics and physical characteristics. We will then begin learning about how animals camouflage themselves to blend in with their surroundings.
