Week of March 5th-9th

We are preparing for the end of the quarter in fourth grade! Last Friday, the fourth graders did an amazing job with their presentation at the Wildcat Assembly and we even had a special visit from a linebacker for the Dallas Cowboys! We also had a guest reader in our classroom for Dr. Seuss week. Check out the pictures and video on the blog! Here are some upcoming dates:

Monday-Wednesday: read 20 minutes, reading log
Thursday- reading log due!
Friday- no school for teacher PD and records day

We are participating in the Change for Books for the Book Fair. Students can bring in pennies on Monday, nickels on Tuesday, quarters on Wednesday, and any change on Thursday! This money will be donated to our classroom to buy books for our classroom.

ELA: We are officially done with our unit 3 ELA lessons and will be working on the end of the unit assessment this week. There are no new skills to practice, but feel free to work on any online activities from January 1st through last week on the blog for practice.

Science: This is one of the most exciting weeks for the students in our electricity unit. Students will use wires, light bulbs, alarms, switches, and motors to build many types of circuits this week. We will also discuss energy conservation. Check out these practice activities:
