ELA:
This week we will start a brand new unit. The objective is for students to compare and contrast theme, plot, and pattern of events from 2 stories including myths, stories, and traditional literature. This means that we will take 2 stories that are similar (2 Cinderella stories, for example) and compare and contrast their problem, characters, theme, etc. We will also work on 2 new spelling patterns: -unch (bunch, crunch, munch, hunch, lunch, punch, etc) and -urse words (curse, nurse, purse). Check out these practice websites:
1. Compare and Contrast video
2. Practice quiz

Science:

2. Rocks and Minerals review site
