Week of May 1st-5th!!!

We are down to our final countdown and final month! I still can’t believe that we have less than 19 days of school until summer break. We have so many fun events coming up: field day, field trip, Talent Show, trivia day, Innovation Day, etc. We also have our math MAP testing to complete over the next week. Here are some important dates coming up:

Wednesday, May 3rd: math MAP testing
Thursday, May 4th: Family Fun Night: food truck, B1G1 Free Book Fair, and Art Projects on Display 6-8 pm
Friday, May 5th: Wildcat Assembly honoring our classroom and school volunteers @ 2:45,
Reading Logs Due
Monday, May 8th: math MAP testing

ELA:
This week we are revisiting our unit on theme. Theme is the “big meaning or topic” behind the story and often includes a moral or lesson. Some themes include greed, anger, being helpful, etc. Check out these practice activities:

Science:
We will continue our unit on specialized structures and animal adaptations animals have for survival in their ecosystems. Check out these practice activities:
