Good day everyone! I hope everyone had a great time over the weekend and had fun snacking and watching the Super Bowl! I loved relaxing on the couch with my family and watching the game! It was quite the comeback.

ELA: We are finishing up our unit on text structures this week and doing some review of text features. Text structures tell how the text was put together while the author was writing it. This can be done as a cause/effect, problem/solution, description, chronological/sequence, or comparing/contrasting writing. Text features include graphs, charts, highlighted words, bullets, page numbers, etc that help the reader navigate/learn about the text in a visual way. Check out these practice websites:

Science: In science class, we are finishing up our unit on energy transfer during collisions (a ball collides with another ball and passes some energy to the second ball) and beginning our unit on calculating speed. Check out these practice activities:
