Week of January 30th-February 3rd!!!

Another month has come and gone! Thankfully we are flying through winter with no snow on the future forecasts. I am hoping we will make it through this year with no more snow days. We have so much to do, and not much time do it it seems! Here are some important dates:

Friday, February 3rd: reading logs due
Wildcat Assembly at 2:45
Popcorn Day 25 cents

ELA: This week we will focus on the sound pattern -unch (Lunch, hunch, bunch, etc). Our spelling test will be next Friday. We are also wrapping up our Point of View unit and beginning our Text Structures unit (how the nonfiction article was written and organized)- cause/effect, problem/solution, chronological, description, comparison and contrast, etc. We will look for key words and clues that tell us how the story was written.
